Xiaomi released a Harry Potter version of its Redmi Pad 2 Pro tablet in China. The Harry Potter Edition has the same hardware as the standard Redmi Pad 2 Pro, which launched globally last September.

The tablet has a 12.1-inch LCD screen with 2560 x 1600 resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, and 120Hz refresh rate. The display hits 600 nits of brightness and uses Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. Touch sampling goes up to 360Hz, and stylus input reaches 240Hz. The screen has China Quality Certification Center Visual Dimension S++ rating and TÜV Rheinland certifications for low blue light, flicker-free operation, and rhythm-friendly viewing. The 12GB/256GB variant includes a soft light screen.

The tablet runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor built on a 4nm TSMC process. The octa-core CPU runs at up to 2.7GHz and works with an Adreno 810 GPU and Hexagon Tensor Processor. You can get it with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Storage expands up to 2TB with a microSD card.
The battery is 12,000mAh with 33W fast charging. It supports QC2.0, QC3.0, QC3+, PD2.0, and PD3.0 charging through USB Type-C. Four speakers provide Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio. Two microphones are built in.

For connectivity, you get Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi Direct, Miracast, MU-MIMO, IPv6, 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB 2.0 data transfer. Sensors include an accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, Hall sensor, and geomagnetic sensor. The tablet runs Xiaomi HyperOS 3. Both cameras are 8MP: one on the back and an ultra-wide on the front. They record 1080p video at 30fps.
